Lacia (レイシア) is the main female protagonist. She is an android equipped with a bullet-stopping device. Lacia becomes Arato's property after saving his life from hijacked electronics. She was later revealed to be the world's 40th Super Intelligent AI and "daughter" of Higgins.
 
Lacia has light lavender hair that reaches her shoulder blades. Her eyes and eyelashes are the same color as her hair. Her standard outfit is a largely white armor that covers her torso front and back, under which she wears a black leotard with black sleeves that cover up to her knuckles. She wears white stilettos with black heels, which she often uses in combat. Like all hIEs, she has hair accessories that contain her native AI.
She is often seen with the Black Monolith, which has shown to change between various modes. She also has a belt with four small wing-shaped plates that attach to her waist during combat.
In Beatless: Final Stage, her outfit changes to a largely black body armor that reveals her waist and underarms, with a white neckguard, black breastplate, and white abdominal armor. She also covers her hands with silver plating.

After spending enough time with Arato and receiving his Love Confession, she not only does physical harm towards herself by her own volition by ripping out her contractor, but also remove any possibility for her to continue on without him as well. All without an ounce of regret.

A chance encounter brings the hIE Lacia face to face with Arato Endo, and she immediately forms a contract with him: Arato becomes her new owner. Shortly after this, she is signed up to a modelling agency by Arato’s younger sister Yuka and begins to work as a supermodel.
She is the fated heroine who propels the story. Lacia is one of a select band of special hIE who escape from the Tokyo research facility of Memeframe, the world’s leading hIE behaviour management cloud platform company. She is a Red Box, a being that mankind has yet to fully comprehend. She was developed by Higgins, an ultra-advanced artificial intelligence. She comes equipped with Black Monolith, a transforming device fitted with a powerful quantum computer.
 
Lacia can cook, clean, do laundry and other standard services that hIE's provide. She is able to make a variety of dishes utilizing data from the behavior-management cloud. Lacia can also provide information on business and law using the secretarial cloud. She is also a capable model, being able to draw a large crowd to market the clothes she wears via analog hacking.
Electronic Warfare: Aside from the abilities provided by Black Monolith, Lacia specializes in electronic warfare, including advance hacking capabilities, though her hacking skills are less destructive than Snowdrop's. She even has the ability to counter the effects of Snowdrop's petals.

Black Monolith: Lacia's weapon, Black Monolith, doubles as a cannon and shield. It gives her the ability to make things invisible by bending light via a coating meta materials and fire rail guns by controlling electromagnetic fields.
